Data You Give Directly
Search Queries
Search fields supplied by a third-party widget send the entered information to that provider. The provider, rather than this private reference, controls its processing and retention. Do not enter a person’s information into a commercial tool unless you have read that provider’s terms and privacy policy.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If a visitor sends a message through an available contact route, the message may be kept so it can be answered or documented. Information is not sold as an official warrant record. A visitor should use the Sheriff, County Court, District Court, or city police for the government record itself.
Data Gathered Automatically
Web servers and analytics tools may receive ordinary technical details when a page loads.
- Internet protocol address or a related network identifier
- Browser type and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages visited and approximate time spent
- Referring page, when supplied by the browser
- Page-view timestamps
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies or similar tools may help measure traffic, keep the site working, and understand which pages need improvement. Browser settings can block or delete cookies, though some features may act differently afterward. Third-party advertising and search partners may use their own cookies under their own policies.
How Information Is Used
Information may be used to keep pages available, understand aggregate traffic, fix technical faults, protect the service, and display general advertising. Search widgets can send a query to their own provider. This private site does not use visitor submissions to create a public roster of warrant subjects.
Official warrant records remain with the county portal, the issuing court, the Sheriff, or the police agency that holds a city record. Nebraska’s public-record rules, including Neb. Rev. Stat. §84-712, govern official records and do not turn this website into the government custodian.
No Warrant Database Here
Scotts Bluff County Warrant Records does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a county warrant database. The site describes how to reach the countywide Zuercher portal, County Court, District Court, Sheriff’s Warrant Division, Detention Center, and city agencies. It does not obtain or publish individual warrant rows, photographs, dates of birth, or private case narratives.
The portal may hide juveniles and public files may be sealed or restricted. A visitor seeking a government record should use the official custodian and its current access rules.
Third-Party Search Partners
Sponsored search boxes are operated by outside companies. Anything entered into those tools is handled under the partner’s policy, not solely under this one. Partners set their own retention, pricing, matching, and sharing terms. A sponsored result is not an official Scotts Bluff County warrant check.
Links to Other Websites
Pages link to county, Sheriff, police, court, Nebraska Judicial Branch, federal, and third-party resources. Once a visitor follows a link, the destination’s privacy rules apply. Review those rules before sharing personal information.
Advertising partners may measure activity across sites on their own systems. This site does not control how an outside site handles a visitor after the link is followed.
Who May Receive Information
Information may be available to service providers that host pages, measure traffic, display ads, or operate a sponsored search widget. It may also be disclosed when a valid legal process requires it. The site does not sell personal data as a county warrant list.
- Hosting and security vendors
- Analytics providers
- Advertising networks
- Search partners receiving a visitor’s query
- Government or law-enforcement bodies when legally required
How Information Is Protected
Reasonable technical and administrative measures are used for information handled by the site. No internet service is completely secure, so a breach can never be ruled out. Do not send a Social Security number, full financial details, or unnecessary personal case information through a general web form.
Users Under 18
The service is intended for adults. The county warrant portal’s current configuration hides juveniles, and this website does not seek youth case information. If a minor’s information is submitted through a private contact route, it may be deleted when the site can identify it and law does not require retention.
Your Data Rights
Rights depend on the visitor’s location and the type of information involved. A visitor may ask what private contact information is held, request correction of an error, ask for deletion where permitted, or object to certain processing. Those rights do not create access to sealed, juvenile, or official court records.
Nebraska’s public-record framework is in Neb. Rev. Stat. §84-712.01. It describes public records held by government bodies. It does not require a private reference site to disclose a government file or reveal protected information.
- Ask for a copy of private information held about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate private contact information.
- Request deletion where a legal duty does not require retention.
- Ask which outside provider received a sponsored search query.
Updates to This Policy
The privacy policy may change when the site, a search provider, or a legal requirement changes. The revised version becomes effective when posted. The effective date for this version is September 21, 2026.
